About the Boat
Calico Jack is a newly built and beautifully hand-made traditional Indonesian sailing boat. Built from the finest tropical sustainable forest hardwoods to the highest standards by the master builders of Sulawesi, the Calico Jack blends the best of traditional with modern amenities and green technology.
The professional and friendly crew are on hand to ensure you have the best journey you could wish for whether it is a journey of discovery and relaxation to fantastic ‘castaway’ islands or superb diving locations.
Calico Jack has been tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout with all the modern facilities you would expect.
There are 5 luxury cabins to choose from, 2 double bed cabins and 3 cabins each with 2 single beds all with en-suite toilets, hot showers, Air Conditioning.
There is a large galley, a saloon, an outside dining area, a roof terrace and a diving platform.
Expect some wonderful Asian fusion culinary delights during your stay on board Calico Jack. Dinner is a 3 course gourmet affair served by the crew. You can either choose your own menus and enjoy your favourites just how you like them or, much like your vacation, you can adventure into an unknown journey of discovery! The kitchen crew are even happy to share their culinary knowledge with you if you would like to enjoy some cooking classes. Eating aboard Calico Jack is an event to be enjoyed, savoured and indulged in.
Calico Jack provides both photography and videography equipment for her guests. In the course of the journey, the crew are able to provide a video making service or can assist you with your own project. There is also a computer with editing equipment at your disposal.
Calico Jack can even provide camping equipment and service should you wish to cast yourself and travelling party in your own castaway journey upon one of the many uninhabited islands in the Archipelago!
We encourage a hands on approach and if you wish to help with the sailing rig, or just pull a line, then the crew will embrace your help, of course if the holiday involves lying in the worlds biggest onboard beanbags, then the crew will be equally happy to top up your drinks.
